Position: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
Location: Kerrville, TX 78028
Schedule: 8 hours/day

Job Responsibilities:

Provide rehabilitative services to residents with mental, physical, psychosocial, and/or developmental impairments under the direction/supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
Maintain expected productivity/efficiency as set by the Director of Rehab or Administrator.
Monitor therapy services to ensure they are performed correctly and provide encouragement when necessary.
Maintain patient physical therapy records by recording resident’s progress and daily notes.
Generate revenue by recording billing information for services rendered.
Ensure a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following facility policies and procedures.
Keep therapy equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.
Adhere to professional standards, policies and procedures, and federal, state, and local requirements to serve and protect the physical therapy practice.
Enhance the physical therapy practice's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

Current Texas licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant required.

Ability to Commute/Relocate: Candidates must reliably commute or plan to relocate to Kerrville, TX.
License/Certification: Physical Therapy Assistant License (Required)
Work Location: In person at Kerrville, TX 78028
